About me
Hi, I’m Claire! I’m 56, a proud mum of four amazing kids—three grown-up sons (32, 30, and 26) and our daughter, Josephine, who’s 17 and still at home (for now!). Oh, and exciting news—I’m about to become a grandma for the very first time! 🍼💕
All of my kids are bilingual—Josephine is even adding Catalan and Spanish to the mix at school. Watching them grow up with multiple languages really opened my eyes to how powerful and empowering language learning can be.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel far and wide, living in some pretty amazing places along the way. In 2018, I earned my TEFL certificate and jumped into teaching—and I haven’t looked back! I started in the Netherlands, and now I’m based in beautiful Barcelona.
As a native English speaker, teaching felt like a natural fit. I’ve worked with everyone from chatty toddlers (as young as 3!) to business-minded adults, whether they're learning for fun, work, or just because they’ve always wanted to.
